L.M. is a 56 year old male with a history of hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and coronary artery disease who is known to have a infrarenal AAA that has been followed by his PCP. Previously AAA measured 4.7 cm in diameter on ultrasound imaging from an outside hospital. Surveillance CTA on 8/1/2016 reveals AAA now measures 5.5 cm in diameter and 5.6 cm in length with mural thrombus 1.5 cm thick. The patient is currently asymptomatic.
