Live Relay – Learn from the Masters March 2022

Case and Plan:
75-year-old obese non-diabetic male presented with crescendo angina. A Cardiac Cath on February 1, 2022 revealed extensive calcified 2 V CAD: multiple tortuous 90% calcified lesions in RCA, 90% calcified proximal-mid LAD-D1 bifurcation with EF = 66% and SYNTAX Score of 36.5. Patient declined CABG and underwent successful PCI of LAD-D1 bifurcation using rotational atherectomy and 3 Promus Elite DES. Patient is now planned for complex staged PCI of tortuous calcified RCA using Rotational Atherectomy and DES.
