Case and Plan:
81-year-old female presented for pre op evaluation for MVR surgery after a failed MitraClip procedure at OSH on 06/24/2021. Cardiac Cath revealed normal angiogram, however showed embolized MitraClip in proximal left common iliac artery. Second MitraClip still attached to anterior mitral leaflet. Underwent successful surgical mitral valve replacement (29 mm epic mitral bioprosthesis) and tricuspid valve repair, doing well clinically. Now presents for percutaneous removal of embolized MitraClip from left common iliac artery.
