Patient with Mesenteric Ischemia – May 2022

Case and Plan:

87-year-old female with prior superior mesenteric artery intervention, known occluded celiac artery, now presents with food aversion since and abdominal pain since 2 months. Ultrasound doppler revealed peak velocity of 724 cm/s at proximal SMA level suggestive of greater than 50% in-stent restenosis. Plan for percutaneous intervention of SMA restenosis via femoral access.
