Case:
A 73-year-old gentleman was incidentally found to have a 50% left internal carotid artery stenosis and a 99% right internal carotid artery stenosis during an MRI study. He has no symptoms of weakness or numbness, vision changes, speech changes, or confusion.

PMHx: HTN, HLD, NIDDM, CAD s/p multiple PCI and CABG 2010 (LIMA-LAD, SVG-RCA), prior tobacco use

Social Hx: Former smoker (30 years, quit 20 years ago)

Medications: Aspirin, Atorvastatin, Amlodipine, Metformin, Metoprolol Succinate, Valsartan
